BURNS CELEBRATION
AT RIPON MASONIC HALL
FRIDAY 26TH JANUARY 2024
PRESIDENT 2023 - 2024 DAVID STUBLEY
Thank you for visiting the Ripon Rotary Club Web site. As the club’s current President I welcome you. We are a busy club which seeks to support a number of charitable organisations both in the community and wider afield and by direct action. We undertake many environmental tasks, like cleaning the “Fairy Steps” at Hell Wath, and looking after “The Horn” on Rotary Way. We have in the past actively supported the Ripon City of Sanctuary and continue to offer aid and support to other similar organisations that help asylum seekers and refugees in our area.
We have in the past actively supported the City of Sanctuary and continue to offer aid and support to other similar organisations that help asylum seekers and refugees in our area .We get our income from fund raising events chief amongst which is our annual cycle ride. We believe we are a resilient Rotary Club and have recovered well from Lock Down, gaining 5 new members during last year.
Our home is Ripon Rugby Club. We meet for lunch 12 for 12.30 and often have a speaker. If you want to find out more about what membership of a dynamic community serving club is all about come along and join us. You’d be very welcome.
